Submission Guidelines:

• Contractor risks require 11+ units.
• Please inform if the incumbent is providing renewal terms and, if available, provide the renewal premium or target.
• Please submit currently valued loss runs for up to five years, or for the duration of operation if less than five years. Note: Applications from new ventures are not accepted
• Please ensure that the loss runs include the names of drivers involved in any accidents. Additionally, detailed information on larger claims is required.
• As this is California only policies cannot be split across different states. Therefore, if units are garaged outside of the coverage area, we are unable to provide a quote.
• Cannot do multiple filings.
• Cannot offer 30 day notice of cancellation.
• No coverage is provided for crane operations, work conducted on streets, roadways, or freeways, and any form of traffic control operations.
• No hot shot risks.
• No remediation or abatement work.
• Number of private passenger units should not exceed 25%
• Max age of the power units is 27 years old and 30 years old for trailers.

Driver Guidelines:

• No major violations in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years with zero at-fault accidents
• No more than one at-fault accident with one minor violation
• A driver with 2 at-fault accidents in the last five years will be ineligible
• All drivers operating light or medium vehicles exclusively must be 21 years old or over **Fleet Risks only**
• All drivers operating heavy or extra-heavy trucks or tractor-trailer units must be 25 years old or over with at least 3 years of like driving experience and Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). **Fleet Risks (11+ power units) only need 2 years of like experience.:**
• Drivers with 2 years’ experience are approved only if they meet the following criteria:
  • Must be 27 years old or older
  • Must have clean MVR
  • Must have License in domiciled state
• Drivers under 25 years old or over 70 years old will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and need underwriting approval.
